By exposing the film many times over, a sense of the time while moving through space is illustrated as well as the advancement of the physical space traveled through. It becomes a method to capture not only light and image, but also the brief history of a short physical movement. Originally, this began as a planned series based on Montauk Highway, a very old and well traveled road on the south shore of Long Island, New York. Over time, the series has expanded to include other surrounding areas.
